Cary Walkin, Excel Game Developer – Help from the Excel Experts

cary walkin

This is the third in a series of interviews targeting people who “Make a Difference” in the Excel community. Authors, Blog Writers, Teachers, excel help gurus, etc. If they are a Microsoft Excel expert — then I am trying to tackle them and get them to speak to you here. Many of these interviews will be video skype interviews, and others will be text.

Cary Walkin, CPA and Developer of Excel Game Arena.XLSM Cary developed the video game Arena.XLSM while he was an MBA Candidate.  He was taking a class on Excel Macros and modeling and figured he could use some of the skills he was learning to develop a game.    If you are looking for a more detailed view of the game, I did a video on Arena.xlsm here.

In this interview, we discussed what his development cycle looked like, what is being developed now…  and what you can expect in the future from Cary.
